Most shops treat a faulty motherboard as dead and quote you for a new one. We repair the board itself. Under the microscope we trace the fault to the part that failed, a shorted capacitor, a burnt MOSFET, a dead power chip or a corrupted BIOS chip, and replace just that part. Short circuit
The charger light goes off when plugged in, or the laptop is completely dead. We find the shorted part and replace it.
Dead power circuit
No power at all, or it powers off after a few seconds. Usually a failed power chip or MOSFET.
No display from the board
The fan spins but there is no picture, even on an external screen.
Corrupted BIOS chip
It won't start after an update or a power cut. We reprogram or replace the BIOS chip.
Liquid-damaged boards
Corrosion from spills is cleaned and the damaged parts are replaced.
Charging circuit
The board won't charge the battery even with a good charger and port.
